Subsea construction is at the heart of STS: the execution of highly complex projects on the seabed using its own fleet of vessels and certified commercial divers, adhering to the Zero Harm safety standard. STS constructs and installs submarine outfalls, siphons and pipelines, intake and discharge systems for desalination plants, single-point mooring buoys and dolphins, and drives piles and large underwater structures using precision maritime maneuvers. Its differentiating capability lies in the integrated management of critical tasks: massive, high-strength underwater concrete pouring, assembly of structures weighing hundreds of tons—positioned with launching and recovery systems (LARS) and sub-meter topographic control—and industrial saturation diving to depths of up to 300 meters for the deepest interventions. With its own infrastructure, STS minimizes dependence on third parties, controls deadlines, and maintains a track record of over 2,500,000 man-hours without fatal accidents, backed by the international ADCI certification. It is one of the few companies in Chile with the scale and assets to carry out underwater works of this magnitude.
